Install KubeDrive

KubeDrive runs on macOS 13 Ventura or later, on Apple silicon and Intel Macs. It is one universal app, signed with a Developer ID and notarized by Apple.

Download

  1. Download the latest DMG from the releases page.
  2. Open it and drag KubeDrive to Applications.
  3. Start KubeDrive from Applications or Spotlight.

Homebrew

brew install --cask aleksskoz/tap/kubedrive

Homebrew upgrades it with the rest of your casks: brew upgrade --cask.

Updates

On its second launch the downloaded app asks whether to check for updates automatically; it checks only if you agree. Updates are signed and come from the GitHub releases page. You can always check by hand: KubeDrive → Check for Updates…, or ⌘K and Check for Updates…. Every release is listed in the changelog.

Uninstall

Quit KubeDrive and move it from Applications to the Trash. Its settings live in ~/Library/Application Support/KubeDrive; delete that folder to remove them too. KubeDrive never changes your kubeconfig, so there is nothing to undo there.
